7Tea® stands for exceptional, handcrafted tea blends and mono teas. We only founded ourselves in 2021 in the middle of the crisis to bring momentum to the boring, staid tea market. For years we have not only been dealing with tea and herbs, but have also been selling our own tea blends on a small scale for a long time. The goal that we pursued and still pursue is to sell tea that is free of pesticides, fair to farmers and, above all, without microplastics in the tea. With our organic tea blends, which are always free of artificial flavors, we get an extraordinary taste and meet all the criteria of the Bio22 regulation. This prohibits the addition of artificial flavors (flavor enhancers) that accustom our taste to something that is not there or is not natural. They often dull our sense of taste so that we can no longer taste real, natural teas and have to get used to them again.

We have decided against "non-organic teas" (conventional tea) because many studies and tests have shown that conventional teas often have very high levels of harmful substances. The pollutant limit values ​​are much higher with these than with organic teas and are often even exceeded. Our decision against tea bags is based on the latest studies from Canada, which show that many tea bags release a lot of microplastics into the tea. Since science still cannot say clearly what the long-term effects are, tea bags that you cannot be sure do not contain plastic should be avoided completely. That's why we test our teas three times: once in the country from which the tea is exported, a second time when the raw materials arrive in Germany and again after blending to prevent effective contamination. To reduce pollution during the mixing and packing process, we dispense with machines and pack by hand.

At 7Tea® you get selected varieties of tea. We only use varieties of black tea, green tea, rooibos tea from South Africa or fruit tea blends that have been extensively tested. For this we work very closely with our importers and always select the highest quality herbs and teas. We obtain herbs mainly from Germany, Austria and Greece.
